Amanda and Brian's wedding: some photos
Up one levelMel and I drove out to Scotia, NY for Amanda and Brian's wedding this weekend (Nov 4th, 2006). I took several photos, but none of them are very good. There are a couple funny ones, though, so here y'all are:
Here comes the bride
While music from the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack plays, Amanda's parents escort her down the aisle. Check out the excellent, spookily beautiful curling willow arrangements in the foreground.
The patio
After the ceremony, there were appetizers and drinks on the adjacent patio. It was a beautiful day.
The Parker Inn
That tall skinny building is where we (and much of the wedding party) spent that night. After the wedding, we all took over the hotel lounge and enjoyed some Guinness and interesting conversations. Mel and I had some very enjoyable chats with Amanda's sister and with her Dad. (This photo is from the next morning.)
