A new home for the Clematis
Earlier this spring, Mel and I bought a Clematis (a type of perennial flowering vine). A month or two later, it was high time to repot it.
Our Clematis had outgrown its pot, and more urgently, outgrown the small trellis with which it came. A couple weeks of procrastination and one trip to the garden store later, we have what you see in the photo. Hopefully this will give the thing enough room to climb for a little while longer.
The Clematis is an interesting genus of plant, with flowers of all sorts of shapes and sizes. I don't know what the flowers on ours will look like yet. Stay tuned!
