So if it had been a sunny day, you would see lots of islands and water right now. We decided that we would enjoy the fog instead, since we had done all that mowing and weed whacking and all.......
Melanie telling stories
When we got to the top of the hill we realized that a very important guest was missing, so they made the bride and groom (mostly the bride) tell some stories until the guest arrived.
The rings were in the shoes!
Best Woman, Secret Agent Savoie, and Best Man, Daniel P. Martinelli, assist with fetching the rings from Melanie's super spectacular pink and red kangaroo sneakers. (After some deliberation about who should guard the rings, we agreed that the best place was Melanie's sneakers. Kangaroo sneakers are both comfortable and useful for stowing small objects!)
Married!!!
Mission accomplished!!! (Up until this point, the weather was just grey. Soon the rain starts. From what we hear, rain is very lucky. We got lots of "luck" on and off for the rest of the party.)
The controversial and drippy 3 legged race!
You'll get a different set of names for the winners depending on who you talk to, but the Games Mistress, Rebecca, declared Taffy and Jenny the official winners. See June Park and Dave Pakula for their argument against this ruling. The supreme court should be providing a final verdict within the next year.
Muddy twister
For those who have a more refined game pallette, there was "Muddy Twister". Check out Paul Tucker's awesome green shorts! Congratulations to Matt Crawford, the official Muddy Twister Champ!
World's best wedding cake
Isn't it beautiful? Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, created by the one and only, Roger Olsen. It was masterfully decorated using edible flowers with the assistance of Marrissa Hutchinson, and Bessie Turner.
